Respite stays are available at Carleton-Willard’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
People choose a respite stay (we just require a one-week minimum) at Carleton-Willard for many reasons. For example:
- A respite stay can be important for a smooth transition to home after time in the hospital or in rehab, helping your loved one continue to recover.
- Caregivers may need time away, whether it’s to attend a wedding or travel. They will have peace of mind knowing that their loved one’s needs are met in a caring, homelike environment.
- Respite stays give the individual an opportunity to experience a welcoming environment and meet new people.
Respite stays include the same high quality care we’re known for, in a secure environment with staff always available.
The staff welcomed me as an advocate and a member of my mother’s caregiving team. They really listened and worked hard, trying different solutions to problems that came up and now Mom is flourishing.
