Our strong program of activities and care supports those with memory disorders in a loving, research-based environment.
One of the most important aspects of caring for someone with dementia is providing structure to the day and keeping individuals engaged. If they are physically, mentally, and socially active, residents are not likely to experience the boredom, anxieties, and problematic behaviors that often accompany memory loss. Innovative use of music and recreational therapy, massage, and strength and flexibility training are all part of our comprehensive offerings. There is a full program of activities seven days a week, including some that focus on cognitive skills as well as those that primarily engage the senses.
