Dining plays an important role at Carleton-Willard, providing a multitude of culinary options, as well as social connections and new experiences.
Residents living at Llewsac Lodge have the same great dining choices as our residential living residents. They can enjoy the elegance of Carleton-Willard’s Abbott Room, with its rich furnishings, fresh floral centerpieces, and friendly and professional waitstaff. Our executive chef draws on the world’s finest cuisines to create our menus, with a choice of inviting appetizers, homemade soups, and sophisticated entrée selections. For a more casual choice, the Brass Rail Bistro, in addition to indoor table service, offers outdoor service on the beautiful patio with a view of the croquet court and gardens. Or Residents can grab something fast at the newly-renovated Victoria Café with indoor and outdoor seating.
Extraordinary dining experiences are regular events, including theme dinners, cocktail parties, summer barbecues and breakfast socials in the courtyard and holiday festivities. We pull out all the stops with our Holiday Gala. The biannual Food Expo is a particular hit, where residents get to sample and rate new culinary creations, deciding which ones will make their way to the regular menu.
At Carleton-Willard we never forget that food isn’t just fuel for the body, but it feeds the soul as well, and is a major source of fun and enjoyment in life.
