Carleton-Willard At Home, a membership-based organization that provides information and support to residents 65 or older in Bedford, Concord, Carlisle, Lexington, Lincoln and Winchester, has launched Gourmet-To-Go, a new program that delivers delicious, nutritionally sound meals to members’ homes.
Each week, members can select from a variety of main dishes and two sides prepared by the chefs at Carleton-Willard Village, flash frozen to preserve freshness, and packaged to be easily reheated in a microwave or oven. Once a week, the meals are delivered directly to members’ homes, where they can be stored in the freezer or enjoyed right away. These are the same meals served to the residents at Carleton-Willard. Each week, At Home members get to choose from eight to 10 different entrees. They can pick from 17 different side dishes as well. At Home members Paul and Lillian Newberne have been enjoying the new program. To them it feels as if “we are dining with Carleton-Willard tonight. The food is just wonderful.”
For a limited time, new At Home members will receive a voucher good for five free Gourmet-To-Go meals. To learn how you can join At Home, call Paula von Kleydorff at 781-276-1910, send an e-mail to membership@cwathome.org, or visit cwathome.org.
