Respite and short-term stays are available at Ross-Worthen.
People choose a respite stay at Carleton-Willard for many reasons. For example:
- A respite stay can be important for a smooth transition to home after time in the hospital or in rehab, helping your loved one continue to recover.
- Caregivers may need time away, whether it’s to attend a wedding or travel. They’ll have peace of mind knowing that their loved one’s needs are met in our caring environment.
- Respite stays give the individual an opportunity to experience a welcoming environment and meet new people.
Respite stays include the same high quality care we’re known for, in a secure environment with staff always available. We do require a one-week minimum, to allow for the person with memory loss to successfully transition to a new environment.
If my mom can no longer be at home, I’m very lucky she is here.
