Research has shown that exercise and staying fit can be key components to maintaining cognitive functioning.
In addition to taking exercise classes at the Ross-Worthen Center, our residents have the opportunity to go to Carleton-Willard’s fitness center, where they can use weight machines that exercise all major muscle groups. In fact, our fitness staff received an industry innovation award for tailoring a strength-training program to residents with memory loss.
Our staff is dedicated to working with each resident, focusing on their overall health and well-being, while catering to the individual needs and abilities.
It feels like a family here. We feel close to the staff, most of whom have been here for years, and close to the other residents and their families.
